About the Opportunity We are seeking highly experienced Health and Safety Advisors to join our NSW team and support the safe delivery of civil and water infrastructure projects across Sydney and Greater Sydney. These are hands-on, site-based roles where you will work closely with Project Managers to provide practical safety leadership and ensure compliance with WHS legislation and Abergeldie’s Safety Management System. You will take ownership of key activities including reviewing WHS and emergency response plans, conducting audits and inspections, monitoring subcontractor compliance, verifying plant and operator competency, and supporting inductions and training. You will also assist with incident investigations, identify corrective actions and drive lessons learned across projects. To be successful, you will bring extensive experience in contractor-side construction delivery environments, with a strong track record of managing safety on complex civil works. Exposure to TfNSW civil infrastructure projects and/or water infrastructure and bulk water infrastructure delivery will be highly regarded. These roles require practical, boots-on-the-ground leadership and the ability to influence safety outcomes in dynamic site conditions.
