Job Description The Opportunity Join us as a Blue Voices Coordinator and help shape mental health programs by amplifying the voices of lived experience. You’ll create inclusive spaces where community members feel heard and valued, ensuring their insights inform the design of services that truly make a difference. We’re looking for someone creative, empathetic, and proactive—someone who thrives on building connections and fostering collaboration. If you’re passionate about making a tangible impact and want to work in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment, this is your opportunity to contribute to something meaningful. What you’ll do Grow and engage the community: Develop and implement recruitment, engagement, and management plans for Blue Voices members to maintain strong connections with Beyond Blue. Embed lived experience: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to involve members in program and service design. Communicate with care: Prepare and distribute regular communications—newsletters, invitations to engagement opportunities—and share outcomes back to members. Operate safely and ethically: Ensure member interactions comply with Beyond Blue policies, including data privacy, CRM management, clinical governance, and volunteer protocols. Support insight and improvement: Contribute to ethical, rigorous research and analysis to inform program enhancements and reporting. Mind the numbers: Assist with budget setting, forecasting, and financial accountability for the Blue Voices program. Continuous improvement: Champion ways of working that uplift member experience and support other Community Engagement projects aligned to Beyond Blue’s strategic goals. Desired Skills and Experience About you You’ll bring: Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (community services, communications, or similar). Experience in membership and/or volunteer management. Strong communication skills, cultural competencies, and a commitment to creating inclusive, safe spaces. Proficiency in CMS/CRM systems and databases; ability to analyse data to identify trends and inform decisions. Collaborative, flexible approach with creativity, problem-solving skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude. Ability to actively listen and engage with individuals sharing their lived experience of mental health challenges, fostering a safe and respectful environment. Benefits of Working with Us Connected location: Centrally based in Naarm (Melbourne CBD) with modern office facilities and end‑of‑trip amenities to support an active commute. Salary packaging: Up to $15,900 salary sacrifice packaging, meal and entertainment benefits, and generous leave options—including parental leave, family and domestic violence leave, gender affirmation leave, and community service leave. Inclusive, values‑driven policies: Cultural, ceremonial, and discretionary leave—supporting team members to honour the days that matter most. Growth and development: Secondments and blended learning opportunities to support ongoing professional development.
