The Opportunity We are seeking a talented and detail-driven Display Draftsperson to join our Design team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in bringing our display homes to life by ensuring all aspects of the display program are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. This role is ideal for an experienced draftsperson who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working cross-functionally, and takes pride in producing high-quality, accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and document upcoming display homes in accordance with the Colour Document—including materials, finishes, fittings, fixtures and more. Liaise with key suppliers and consultants (structural engineers, cabinet makers, truss manufacturers, etc.) to ensure documentation is coordinated and consistent. Review and validate all display documentation using the Display Drafting Checklist. Attend onsite checks to confirm displays are built in line with documentation; complete and distribute site reports within 48 hours, including photographs and drawing updates. Respond to onsite queries from Site Supervisors as required. Develop and document display designs in line with Mirrastone Guidelines. Produce “As Displayed” and standard brochure plans for Marketing. Maintain awareness of forecasted commencement and completion dates for all displays. Contribute ideas to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and profitability of the Design team and broader business. About You Proficiency in AutoCAD Minimum 3 years’ residential drafting experience Strong understanding of residential home construction processes Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong time management, planning and process improvement capabilities High level of accuracy, clarity and attention to detail in documentation Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills Team-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement Why Join Mirrastone?
