Job Description Griffith University is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Simulation Officer to join our Simulation and Practical Experience team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality simulation and related learning activities, primarily within the Nursing and Midwifery disciplines. In this role you will develop and maintain up-to-date specialist or technical knowledge of new and innovative methodology, equipment and technology in simulation education and provide specialist advice and/or training to relevant stakeholders for the Simulation Suites, including compliance with technical standards and protocols. Under the supervision of the Team Leader, you will liaise with fellow Senior Technical Officers, Simulation Officers and Academic staff as part of a collaborative model fostering world-class innovation. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating operational requirements to support the Clinical simulation space, including rostering, timetabling, procurement, maintenance, compliance with Health & Safety protocols, set up and demonstrations of simulation and clinical equipment. This position requires the knowledge and ability to act quickly and informatively to support the university which will naturally offer a high degree of variation in daily tasks and responsibilities. What we offer This is a full time, continuing position that is primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. The full-time base salary is HEW Level 6 range $91,843 - $97,964 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $107,456 - $114,617 per annum.
