The key duties of the position include Employment Opportunity A position is available for a Communication and Change Manager (EL1) in the IVS Enhancements Section. The section is responsible for delivering enhancements to the IVS, including the Credential Protection Register (CPR). The position will contribute to success of CPR enhancements delivery to ensure better responses to future data breaches and give individuals greater awareness and control of how and when their credentials are used. This is an exciting opportunity to enable successful understanding, implementation and adoption of a new CPR mobile-compatible web-based application. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing and delivering communication and change strategies. The role will also support stakeholders and citizens to understand the purpose, impact and benefits of the CPR, and guide organisations and business users through change in a structured, cost effective and empathetic way. Key responsibilities: develop and implement communication and change management strategies, including stakeholder mapping, impact assessments, change readiness analysis and risk mitigation facilitate change workshops, engagement forums, training sessions and readiness activities to prepare organizations for transition to the new service define, track and report on change success metrics support the integration of change management practices into project plans, governance and delivery activities build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships create clear and user-focused content, and communications and media products. The branch delivers and coordinates efforts across whole-of-government strategic policy and legislation which aim to strengthen identity resilience. The branch also operates Identity Verification Services (IVS) that are vital to the Australian economy. We are seeking applicants with the following attributes, skills and experience to join us in a challenging, exciting and friendly team environment: proven experience as a Communication Manager, Change Manager, or similar role within large-scale technology projects / programs strong knowledge of change management methodologies exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distil complexity into clear, accessible messaging demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement across multi-agency or multi-disciplinary environments experience working on digital service delivery, identity management, cybersecurity, or government transformation projects (or similarly complex domains). Desirable experience in government, regulated industries or security-focused programs understanding of identity crime and identity ecosystems certificate in communication, change management or project management experience supporting public-facing service launches or behavior-change initiatives.
