As a member of a small team, the successful candidate will provide administrative and practical support : Provide end-to-end recruitment support, including advertising, liaising with candidates, managing applications, supporting selection processes, and record keeping; ensuring recruitment activities comply with internal policies and legislative requirements. Administer inboxes, including triage, record keeping, and answering simple queries. Provide support for the making of offers, relocation, and onboarding of incoming employees. Administer the induction process for new staff. Provide coordination and support for career fairs and other promotional activities. Maintain the recruitment intranet page, and other HR intranet pages on request. Provide support for recruitment and other HR reports, such as learning and development. Provide administration support including procurement for other HR functions such as learning and development, diversity and inclusion and work health and safety. The key duties of the position include Ability to support end-to-end APS recruitment as part of an in-house recruitment function serving internal stakeholders. Understanding of the Public Service Act, APS Commissioner's Directions, and other relevant restrictions and guidelines that relate to APS recruitment. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure the best possible hiring outcome is achieved. Ability to communicate to internal and external audiences as well as good verbal, written and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail. Experience with Aurion is highly desirable but not mandatory.
