We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team and support the design, development, installation, and maintenance of electrical power systems and equipment. Position Overview The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supervising the manufacture, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems for the generation, distribution, utilisation, and control of electric power. Registration or licensing may be required in accordance with Australian regulations. Key Responsibilities Plan and design power stations and power generation equipment Determine the type and arrangement of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, transmission lines, and associated equipment Design and develop electrical products such as electric motors, components, equipment, and appliances Interpret technical specifications, drawings, standards, and regulations relating to electrical power equipment and usage Organise and manage resources required for the supply of electrical components, machines, appliances, and equipment Establish delivery and installation schedules for machines, switchgear, cables, and fittings Supervise the operation and maintenance of power stations, transmission and distribution systems, and industrial plants Design and install control and signalling systems for road, rail, and air traffic applications Conduct or contribute to research in areas such as power generation and transmission systems, transformers, switchgear, electric motors, telemetry, and control systems Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Relevant experience in electrical power systems, equipment design, or industrial electrical engineering Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and regulations Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills Registration or eligibility for registration/licensing as required What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Opportunity to work on diverse and technically challenging projects Supportive and professional working environment Career development and growth opportunities How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume and a cover letter to: melintpty@gmail.com
