About the role: We are currently seeking two self-motivated and reliable Store Persons/ Forklift Operators to join our Stores & Procurement team. Reporting to the Store Supervisor, this position plays a key role in ensuring the safe, effective, accurate and consistent stores activity and inventory control practices are undertaken in line with Quality Assurance, Work, Health & Safety, stores & procurement policies operating procedures. Joining a close-knit team, you’ll enjoy a variety of duties day to day that include: Picking and processing of daily requisitions using RF scanner Safe operation of a forklift. Unloading and QA check of all materials delivered Stocktaking and stock rotation activity Ensuring that the warehouse housekeeping is maintained at the highest possible standard. Maintain a high level of safety, accuracy, service, and productivity About you: With demonstrated experience working in a warehouse/store’s environment, the successful applicant will also bring: Current LF Forklift License Current Drivers License Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Love the mornings and can work from 5am daily An uncompromising commitment to working safely at all times Ability to work well unsupervised Interpersonal skills and a customer focused approach Solid numeracy skills and attention to detail The ability to read, accurately interpret and follow policies, procedures & work instructions Ability to safely undertake physical elements of this role (as determined by pre-employment medical) Certificate III in Warehousing Operations would be highly regarded Please Note: You will be required to undertake QFever testing and vaccination if required.
