We're seeking a confident, enthusiastic Occupational Therapist Team Leader to join our Melbourne team. Description At NeuroRehab, we specialise in neurological rehabilitation. We work with people with traumatic brain injuries, stroke, spinal cord injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and a diverse range of other neurological conditions. Our clients are predominately NDIS participants with some TAC and My Aged Care-funded clients. The position is available full-time and involves a mix of leadership and clinical work both in our fully equipped clinics and out in the community. Key Responsibilities Provision of Occupational therapy in adult neurological services with a person-centred approach. Contribution to screening of new referrals, delegation of referrals to staff, and clinical risk management planning Coordinating and promoting a high performing OT team Opportunities to participate in projects and innovative service development for the Department and wider MDT. Hands-on with the recruitment process for new team members. If you have an eye for people and OT skills, building the team is a rewarding experience! Working with our OT Education team to develop and deliver learning programs. Prescription and funding requests of AT / Home Mods as required. Collaborate with a highly skilled full multidisciplinary team. Skills And Experiences Requirements AHPRA registration. 5 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist (If you are a confident OT with NDIS experience and know your future lies in supporting a team, don’t let the 5 years’ experience be a barrier to an application!). Desirable Experience working within a NDIS framework. Familiarity, knowledge and understanding of prescribing a range of assistive technology / Home mods.
