About the role Permanent full time opportunity to be an effective and efficient member a team of electrical tradespersons responsible for the statutory testing, repair, installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of all electrical trade related plant, equipment and facilities within the Departments responsibility area. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Perform maintenance and repairs on hospital equipment and machinery to ensure their optimal functioning. This includes providing work service or feedback reports, ensuring deadlines, specifications and quality standards are met. Collaborate with other staff to address equipment-related concerns and provide technical support as required. Carry out rostered after hours call out duties, reasonable overtime work, relief shift work if required and other work as directed by supervisory staff. The work environment can be anywhere within the Departments responsibility work Backfill absent supervisory and other department staff for short time periods if required.
