Position Profile As the hospital continues its expansion, including a new 112-bed public ward block currently in development, we are looking to employ Cardiology Registrars to join the team on a full-time/part-time fixed-term basis to serve the Cardiology department in teams and hospital admissions. The Cardiology department at JHC currently manages up to 2500 patients per year. The department runs a Coronary Care Unit, a Telemetry Care Unit and a Cath Lab, which supports cardiac catheterization and device implantation procedures. The department also provides various cardiac imaging services, including transoesophageal echocardiograms. Successful candidates will also be rostered on an after-hours roster, including night shifts, all while supported by the many approachable and knowledgeable Consultants. Remuneration: JHC is looking to employ Registrars with a salary range of $152,756.80 – $233,665.60 p.a pro rata (including base salary, 12% superannuation and professional development allowance). High overnight penalties are paid, and casual contracts are available to suitable candidates. Essential Criteria Demonstrated commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values. Registered as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (Medical Board of Australia). A minimum of three years of clinical experience.
