About us: Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services has a main hub located in Rockhampton and other locations throughout the Banana, Central Highlands and Gladstone Region. The Gladstone Maintenance Department as part of Central Queensland Health's BEMS team has professional, administrative, operational and trades staff. The trades provided by in‐house staff include refrigeration mechanic, electrical, plumbing. About the role: To provide comprehensive services to support Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services within Central Queensland Health. To maintain a high-quality electrical trades service which supports the district's commitments to the principles of patient focused care and quality management. This position will be based at Gladstone Hospital and may be required to be deployed to other Central Queensland Health facilities when required. About you: Must hold an Electrician Trade qualification and have a current Queensland Electrical Trade Licence. Current Workplace Health and Safety General Safety Induction Card. Current Working at Heights and Confined Space Certification.
