The Trust Associate works with clients and supports the philanthropic trust management team. They work to ensure clients receive an exceptional service whilst administering accounts efficiently and in line with business and compliance guidelines About the Role Join our dynamic team at Perpetual Wealth Management. As a Trust Associate, you will: Support the philanthropic trust management team with the management and compliance of charitable trusts. Monitor and manage a book of philanthropic accounts and ensure accounts are administered in accordance with governing documents, compliance, legislation and company policy on a profitable and commercial basis Actively seek input from senior members of the team and specialists to resolve matters in a timely manner Ensure all client correspondence (phone and email) is responded to in a timely and effective manner Investigate and report on risk and compliance issues including assisting with controlled self-assessment testing (CSA) Support the team to ensure effective management of controls and business reporting Develop and maintain thorough understanding of charitable law and other relevant laws impacting charitable trusts Work collaboratively with specialist teams to support the service delivery and client experience, including: Financial Advisers, Investment Specialists, Tax specialists, Property and Operations team, and Paraplanners Manage workload and service milestones in order to achieve timely and quality outcomes for clients Work with the team to achieve referrals and retention opportunities through active client management and engagement Work proactively and collaboratively with the Senior Manager and team to improve business process and procedures Proactively escalate issues to Risk and Legal teams as appropriate About You We’re looking for someone with: Tertiary qualified or studying towards Minimum three years' experience in an administrative role, preferably with a trustee or financial services environment (desired) Experience working in a client centric business environment Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and relationships Sound communication skills (written and verbal) Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to progress multiple administrative matters concurrently Personal resilience with the ability to work in a fast-paced business environment Sound problem solving and decision-making skills Understanding of compliance and risk management as it relates to business processes How we work Our unique culture is underpinned by our three organisational behaviours, Stretch, Own it, Make an impact which drive our approach of day-to-day interactions with colleagues and clients, the way we approach decision-making to the questions we ask and the problems we solve.
