CONSTANT is partnering with a leading Student Accommodation provider to deliver a modern approach to safety, one that’s centred on student welfare, wellbeing, and community. You’ll use your unique experience and skills in safety, welfare and security, but you’ll also build genuine relationships and make a difference in the lives of students from around the world, integrating yourself to be part of a close-knit community. Full time hours available, predominantly evenings and nights, with a variety of locations available. What You’ll Be Doing Building rapport with students through positive, friendly engagement Providing after-hours support and responding to wellbeing concerns Conducting presence-based walkthroughs (not enforcement or surveillance) Assisting with student lockouts, enquiries, or amenity access Coordinating with on-call emergency or security services where needed Logging incidents and updates in reporting systems Supporting the delivery of engagement and community-building initiatives Liaising with university staff and residential life teams Light administrative and concierge-style responsibilities Who We’re Looking For We’re interested in two types of people: Experienced Security Officers ready to move into a softer, more community-focused environment. People-focused professionals (allied health, education, community services, multicultural support, student support, youth services, customer service, hospitality) who hold a current security license.
