Job summary Our Pre-Contracts Manager will play a pivotal role in the management and leadership of the front-end engineering and pre-contracts teams to deliver objectives outlined in project and business plans. This role will also involve the establishment, maintenance and furthering of relationships with key stakeholders as well as new and prospective clients. Tasks & Responsibilities - Support managers and construction teams in developing projects that meet the needs of clients. - Manage and undertake consultations with clients about proposals for feedback and input and accurately report these to construction management and leadership teams. - Ensure the community, businesses, councilors, media, partners, and stakeholders are kept informed about progress on the development of the projects. - Liaise with teams to ensure the projects are developed for deliver in the most efficient, effective and coordinated manner. - Manage, liaise and direct multi-agency teams to ensure that project funding requirements are met. - Implement robust programmes for projects with appropriate change control processes. - Regularly review and update project programmes and report significant variances to management. - Ensure all necessary measures are incorporated in projects to minimise and mitigate any adverse impact on the environment and local communities . Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management or similar discipline Minimum 5 years’ experience in project development or management role Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
