About the role We are seeking an accountant to provide support to the Group Financial Manager and the Company Services Director. Key Responsibilities Month-end closing and preparation of management accounts, including preparation of monthly financial reports by department Maintenance of records in the management system, WorkflowMax , and accounting package, Xero Prepare monthly payroll Prepare annual budgets Assist in maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organisation policies Review, analyse, and monitor monthly results against the budgets Prepare and present job cost, project, and other financial analysis Prepare weekly debtors and cashflow report Collect, interpret and review financial information Predict future financial trends and cash flows Develop strategies to minimise financial risk Key Skills Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills Excellent numeracy skills and keen attention to detail Well-developed personal organisational and time management skills The successful applicant will need to demonstrate Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent qualification At least 12 months’ experience in an accounting role Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel Experience working in a professional team environment
