Here’s how you will make a difference in this role… McMillan Shakespeare is growing its QA capability, and we’re looking for a Senior Software Tester to lead quality across major digital initiatives. This is a senior hands-on role where you will define QA strategy, drive automation, mentor testers, and ensure our enterprise applications are reliable, secure, and scalable. Senior Software Tester leading QA strategy, automation, and quality governance across enterprise applications in a modern Agile and DevOps environment. At MMS clear expectations help our people Be the Difference. Your key responsibilities in this role will include: Lead QA strategy, planning, and best-practice testing across multiple projects. Develop and enhance automation frameworks (UI, API, CI/CD integrated). Build automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and API tools like Supertest or REST Assured. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub). Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter or similar tools. Mentor junior and mid-level testers and uplift QA capability across teams. Collaborate with developers, architects, BAs, and product teams in Agile delivery. Drive continuous improvement and champion quality throughout the SDLC. To be considered for this role you will possess the following: 5 years of software testing experience, including senior or leadership responsibilities. Strong expertise in automation (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) and API testing. SQL proficiency and strong analytical skills for data validation. Experience with performance testing (JMeter, k6). Solid understanding of CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps QA practices. Exposure to Azure/AWS cloud testing, mobile testing, and cross-browser automation.
