Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation: This role is pivotal in shaping the seasonal buy and inventory strategy for adidas’ Fashion wholesale accounts. As a Wholesale Planner, you’ll ensure the right product is available at the right time by managing order books, monitoring sell-through, and driving in-season adjustments. Your work will directly impact sales performance, customer satisfaction, and the growth of the Fashion channel within the wider adidas business. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Forecasting Analytics Monitor weekly sell-through, weeks-of-cover, and stock flow to identify risks and opportunities. Partner with Sales and Customer Service to review and manage the Fashion Order Book. Support in-season adjustments such as funding requests, cancellations, and replenishment decisions. Deliver clear, actionable recommendations to maximize in-season performance. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on business performance by category and account. Forecasting & Planning Own seasonal buy planning and contribute to financial forecasting processes. Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) and ensure alignment with business KPIs. Support Go-to-Market planning through forecast inputs and customer financial reporting. Collaborate with global and local teams to align long-term planning with market dynamics. Reporting & Insights Provide ad-hoc reporting tailored to the Fashion channel and customer needs. Translate retail and sales data into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders. Build professional presentation materials for QBRs and T2T meetings. Key Relationships: Internal Director Fashion, Senior Manager Fashion, Account Managers Wholesale Planners Supply Chain / OBF Sales Operations Finance Customer Service Marketing Operations Product & Category Teams External Merchandising & Planning teams within the Fashion account portfolio Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; SAP and BI tool experience a plus. Strong analytical mindset with experience in inventory planning and OTB management. Solid understanding of retail math and sell-through analysis, with the ability to turn data into strategy. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize under pressure with keen attention to detail. Confident communicator, skilled at presenting insights to managers, peers, and external partners. Collaborative team player with a proven ability to build strong relationships across functions and with clients. Positive, proactive attitude that supports a high-performance culture. Requisite Education & Experience / Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience). Proven experience in wholesale planning, inventory management, retail operations, or financial forecasting.
