Senior Systems Engineer Location: Sydney Duration: 6-12 months with extensions Rate: $1000-1200 per day including super Start date: ASAP (urgent) Working rights: must be an Australian permanent resident or Australian Citizen About The Senior Systems Engineer will join the Enterprise Migrations team, working alongside compute, storage and network specialists to lead the discovery, planning and migration of enterprise applications to new data centres and infrastructure environments. Key Responsibilities Design low-level compute and storage architectures to support application and infrastructure migrations Deploy, harden, and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) Automate server provisioning and configuration using PowerShell and Python, including VMware PowerCLI Build and manage staging and canary environments with snapshot and rollback capabilities Secure service accounts, certificates, and credential storage, including rotation policies Implement logging, monitoring, and SIEM integrations with alerting for deployment failures Collaborate across domains to ensure systems and infrastructure components interact seamlessly Required Experience Strong hands-on experience with Windows and systems infrastructure engineering Advanced PowerShell skills and working knowledge of Python for automation Strong VMware vSphere administration and automation expertise Solid understanding of how enterprise systems integrate and interact across platforms Why Apply?
