Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead our brand new Childcare Centre located in Ermington. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, leadership of the centre, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for both children and staff. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high-quality standards. Foster a love for learning and creativity among children through engaging activities. Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, ensuring open communication and involvement. Represent the centre in the local community, establishing partnerships and promoting the centre's values. Manage the budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources. Priorities the health and safety of all children in service Assisting with daily campus operations and room tasks such as: activity preparation and mealtimes Lead the planning and implementation of the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development. Provide leadership, guidance and support to other educators within the service Maintaining ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily information Assuring the high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards as well as compliance with relevant Government Regulations. Qualifications And Skills Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Minimum three years experience in a Centre Director role within a Early Childcare setting. Current paid working with children check, current First aid & CPR. National Police Check (within 6 months). Strong understanding of childcare regulations and compliance. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Passion for early childhood education and commitment to providing quality care.
