The Surfers Paradise Beergarden is an iconic, high-volume entertainment venue at the heart of the Gold Coast's nightlife. This is an exciting, fast-paced environment with massive night trade. We are seeking a professional Night Manager to take full leadership charge of the venue during your shift, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and a fantastic customer experience. A Day In The Life Of An Night Manager Take full ownership of the venue's operations, and service standards throughout the night trade Lead and motivate the floor team to ensure exceptional customer service during peak volume Manage responsible service of alcohol (RSA) compliance and ensure all closing procedures are followed seamlessly Provide a clear handover to the day team, reporting on key events and shift performance Inherent Requirements This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently. About You You are naturally a night person with 4 night shifts You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away You’ve got a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers License as per state requirements If you’re keen to learn, lead, and laugh while making this pub the best spot in town – we’d love to hear from you.
