Join a culture-led organisation - Australia’s largest private health care provider 2-year Fixed Term Contract Hybrid working – Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane Location About The Role The Change Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the people side of organisational change across clinical, operational, digital and organisational initiatives. This role will guide the successful adoption of new processes, systems, technologies and ways of working by ensuring employees are informed, equipped, and supported through change. With a clear focus on driving strong adoption, minimising disruption and increasing confidence in new ways of working, the Change Manager supports Ramsay Health Care to achieve its performance goals and build organisational change capability. As an integral partner to project teams and business leaders, the role embeds structured change management into delivery, builds workforce readiness, and ensures change is anchored into everyday practice. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage while minimising resistance. Apply a structured methodology (e.g., Kotter, ADKAR, Lewin’s) to assess, design and lead change management activities. Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders. Support communication efforts by developing communication plans and materials. Support training efforts by providing input, documenting requirements, and supporting the design and delivery of training programs. Identify, analyse, and prepare risk mitigation tactics. Integrate change management activities into project plans. Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress. Provide coaching and support to people managers to help them fulfill the role of change sponsor. About You Your influence, expertise and can-do-attitude will play a vital role in ensuring organisational change-readiness, supporting the business to achieve its objectives. Working collaboratively with others, you thrive in an environment that is both structured and organised as well as complex and ambiguous at times, requiring a more agile approach to problem solving. Essential Your Skills and Experience Proven experience in change management, ideally within large-scale transformation programs. Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations. Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere. Problem-solving and root cause identification skills. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities Desirable Previous experience in the healthcare sector and/or a People Group function. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field. Change Management certification (e.g., APMG) is highly desirable.
