Our clinic in Burnie (Northwest Regional Hospital) is currently seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join the team. The role is a Permanent Part-time Position and must be able to work four days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Reporting to the Office Supervisor , you will be responsible for providing high level reception duties and administrative services whilst ensuring the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and other customers. Role Overview: As a Medical Receptionist , you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures ensuring that a patients first experience of I-MED is one they will positively remember. Answering phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally. Ensuring smooth clinic operations during our business hours. Key attributes: Clear and empathetic verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills putting the patient at the center of all that you do Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
