We’re looking for a skilled Senior Contract Administrator who can drive commercial rigour, build strong relationships, and support high-performance project outcomes. You will embody an Inspirational approach to work. What you’ll do: Manage end-to-end subcontractor procurement, including preparing packages, running tender processes, and negotiating commercial terms. Administer subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with scope, contract conditions, and Kapitol governance requirements. Prepare, assess and negotiate progress claims, variations, EOTs and final accounts. Maintain accurate cost forecasting, budget tracking and financial reporting in partnership with Project Managers and Commercial Managers. Monitor and manage head contract obligations, including notices, reporting requirements and correspondence. Ensure timely processing of subcontractor claims, purchase orders and payments. Support monthly commercial reporting, cost-to-complete reviews and risk assessments. Identify cost or scope risks early and recommend mitigation strategies. Collaborate closely with project delivery teams to maintain strong commercial performance across each stage of the build. Contribute to continuous improvement in commercial systems, processes and reporting quality. What you’ll bring: Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator in commercial construction (Tier 1 / Tier 2 experience highly regarded). Strong understanding of head contract and subcontract conditions, procurement, variations, progress claims and commercial governance. Experience managing high-volume contract administration in fast-paced project environments. Excellent financial acumen — confident managing forecasts, cost plans, budgets and commercial reporting. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with subcontractors and internal stakeholders. High level of accuracy, attention to detail and documentation discipline. Proficiency with construction management systems (Jobpac, Procore, Aconex or similar). Collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong communication skills.
