About the Role Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is seeking an experienced First Aider to join our team as a seasonal casual. You will be an integral part of our Guest Services Operations team and must hold a Cert IV Health Care and an Advanced First Aid (HLTAID014). As an experienced First Aider you will be involved in administering a variety of First Aid treatments for both park guests and our team members. As a detailed and enthusiastic professional, you will be completing medical reports, supporting paramedic students completing their clinical placements and assisting with ensuring First Aid resources and practices meet required standards across the Sanctuary. Your calm and proactive attitude will ensure all interactions with our guests and team members are positive and memorable. About You We are seeking a person who has a calm, enthusiastic and proactive attitude. As this is a Seasonal Casual role, we are looking for a candidate who can start immediately and working through to February 2026. You will have a flexible working approach as this role will involve weekend work, and public holidays. You will hold both a Certificate IV Health Care and an Advanced First Aid (HLTAID014) You will hold a current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain You will have the ability to understand and comply with Workplace Health and Safety standards You will have relevant experience delivering first aid in a medium to large workplace You can demonstrate computer literacy in excel, word and outlook You have the ability to exert a calm authority in medical emergencies and have excellent verbal and written communications skills Ability to ensure that all medical supplies and equipment are maintained and well documented You can maintain records confidentially Ability to work as part of the team and individually You have a high level of professional personal presentation and are comfortable working in an outdoor animal centric environment which includes mammals, reptiles, birds and insects You will be willing to learn/expand your abilities and experience every day.
