(pro rata) Ongoing Full-Time and Part-Time (Multiple Positions) About the Role: The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking Registered and Clinical Nurses to join our Rehabilitation Inpatient team. Rehabilitation nursing is a fulfilling specialty allowing clinicians to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. Whilst collaborating within a dedicated multidisciplinary health care team, nurses working in this specialised practice focus on helping individuals with a disabling injury or illness. Through personalised, goal driven care plans, rehabilitation nurses address physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs, assisting patients to regain independence, confidence, autonomy and to move through often challenging recoveries. Rehabilitation nurses play a vital role in helping patients rebuild skills and achieve their highest potential by fostering collaboration and positivity. They act as educators, advocators, coordinators and encourage active participation in therapy and daily routines based on patients' individual needs. Ultimately, rehabilitation nursing is a life changing role, providing the ability to empower patients to reach their highest potential. Appointment to the role will be at the RN1 or RN2C classification, dependent on the level of experience and meeting the requirements of the position. To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
