You'll play a pivotal role in overseeing gaming operations, ensuring all regulatory compliance requirements are met, and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers. This position is for overnight (graveyard) shifts exclusively. Highways is located in the hub of suburban south-east Melbourne on the perimeter of Sportsbet Sandown Racecourse. Featuring a family friendly bistro with a designated kids play area, great service and a relaxed atmosphere making it the perfect dining experiences for all to enjoy. Along with an extensive modern menu with daily specials, Highways caters to both children and adults alike. What will my duties include? Ensure the gaming room is always of a high standard in terms of cleanliness, customer service, lighting and ambiance. Oversee daily gaming operations, including game management and equipment functionality. Ensure that all policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements are always being met. Supervise and support gaming staff and provide training and guidance to maintain high performance standards. Assisting when required with the management team in the further development of the gaming room. Applicants must be available to work overnight (graveyard) shifts exclusively. The role you are applying for may be quite fast-paced and require you to complete tasks including but not limited to lifting boxes, kegs or stock, standing for long periods of time, and utilising stairs. What we are looking for: Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA). Current Victorian Responsible Service of Gambling Certificate (RSG). Current Victorian Gaming Employee Licence. Food Handlers Certificate TAB Compliance Previous experience in a similar role. Ability to lead, motivate, and manage staff effectively.
