About The Role We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive and execute the product roadmap for Honey. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will be an ambassador for our customers and partners, and through a deep understanding of them, champion the products that create true delight, advocacy and loyalty. Key aspects of the role Own the product roadmap for core platform systems, balancing technical debt, system evolution and new capabilities. Partner closely with engineering teams to make technical trade-off decisions, understanding implications of architectural choices without getting lost in implementation details Research and deeply understand complex technical domains - from transactional systems to rules-based engines and payments - translating them into clear product requirements Work with internal stakeholders (operations, claims, and commercial teams) and external partners (underwriters and vendors) to understand their technical needs and pain points. Drive major technical initiatives from discovery through delivery, managing dependencies across multiple systems and teams. Champion platform reliability, performance and maintainability alongside feature development Qualifications & Competencies 5 years of experience as a Product Manager working on platform products, technical infrastructure or B2B systems Comfortable operating in technically complex domains - you can discuss system architecture, data flows and integration patterns with engineering teams Proven ability to research and quickly build deep understanding of unfamiliar technical domains Track record of managing complex, multi-team technical initiatives with multiple stakeholders Experience working with engineering teams in an agile environment using modern development practices Strong analytical skills with ability to make data-informed decisions about technical investments and trade-offs You know how to balance competing priorities from internal users, commercial stakeholders and technical teams to focus on the highest-impact work Outstanding communication skills - you can translate technical complexity for non-technical audiences and business requirements for technical teams You are a positive person, a resourceful go-getter who can set direction for platform products whilst simultaneously getting your hands dirty to help solve problems Advantageous Experience with insurance systems and products Knowledge of payment processing systems Background in regulated industries or compliance-heavy domains Our Hive Culture At Honey, we do things differently.
