We service breakfast, lunch & dinner, and cater for bespoke functions and events in a relaxed yet high-energy environment We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team and contribute to this sophisticated dining experience. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Chef in a high-paced, quality-focused kitchen environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team. Expertise in food safety, kitchen hygiene, and quality control. A creative passion for food and a commitment to delivering memorable dining experiences. As a Chef you will be responsible for delivering top-tier culinary experiences across various sections of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will be creative, possess a deep understanding of flavor profiles, and be committed to delivering outstanding food that meets our high standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop creative, seasonal menus while estimating food and labor costs for effective budget management. Oversee the quality of dishes during all stages of preparation and presentation to ensure the highest standards. Work closely with management, dietitians, and kitchen staff to address food preparation needs and meet guest expectations. Demonstrate advanced culinary techniques and guide the team on best practices in cooking and food handling. Cook and prepare a range of dishes that align with the restaurant’s sophisticated and European-inspired menu. Ensure that hygiene and food safety standards are maintained at all times in the kitchen. Participate in the recruitment and training of kitchen staff, fostering a strong and efficient team. Manage food preservation and freezing processes as needed. Requirements Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents encouraged to apply AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Associate-Degree in relevant field such as Commercial cookery. Minimum 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in a Chef, ideally within a comparable restaurant. Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a fast-paced hotel or restaurant environment. A passion for food and a commitment to quality. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team under pressure.
