About the role As an HR Adviser, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support across the entire employee lifecycle. You will draw on your recruitment experience to provide value-adding sourcing insights, exceptional stakeholder care, and end-to-end coordination of recruitment and on boarding activities. Working as part of a supportive team, you will expand your generalist HR capabilities through exposure to performance, employee relations, workforce planning, legislative interpretation and policy application. You will also have opportunities to visit electorate offices across Victoria to build relationships, provide in-person support, and better understand the unique needs of the workforce. What you will do Provide consistent, practical HR advice across a range of people matters. Manage and support end-to-end recruitment, delivering an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers. Coordinate cyclical programs, including graduate and early careers initiatives. Enhance quality of hire through proactive talent engagement and meaningful market insights. Visit electorate offices twice a year to provide trusted, in-person HR support. Interpret employment legislation, enterprise agreements and policies to ensure compliant and fair HR practices. Assist with workforce planning and employee movements, ensuring accurate and up-to-date HR data. Prepare HR documentation, reports and correspondence to support informed decision making. Contribute to continuous improvement and support initiatives that enhance HR service delivery. Model the Parliamentary values and uphold Work Health and Safety practices.
