About the Position Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Design and deliver high-quality coaching sessions that cater to varying skill levels and abilities Develop age-appropriate training programs that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship Mentor and motivate students to achieve their personal best both on and off the field Coordinate and attend sporting fixtures, carnivals, and competitions Foster a positive, inclusive sporting culture that encourages participation and celebrates effort Collaborate with the Director of Sport, Assistant Director of Sport and other coaches to support the school's broader sporting program Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students during training and competition. About You Relevant coaching qualifications in the sport you are applying for and at least 3 years’ coaching experience Strong understanding of skill progression and age-appropriate training methods Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students Commitment to promoting confidence, resilience, and leadership through sport Understanding of the unique considerations in coaching girls and young women Enthusiasm for creating an inclusive environment where all students feel valued Genuine passion for coaching and motivating young women High professional and ethical standards Collaborative team player who contributes to school community.
