Principal EPM Specialist Employment Type: Ongoing Classification / Grade / Band: Clerk Grade 11/12 Remuneration: $149,739 to $173,174 plus, Superannuation and Leave Loading Location: Sydney CBD, Flexible & hybrid working options available Applications Close: Thursday, 23 October 2025 at 9:59am Your Impact and Contribution As Principal EPM Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert business support as well as performing ongoing maintenance on our Prime platform; to ensure it meets our end-user requirements and aligns with expected accounting standards, policies, and procedures. This role will predominantly focus on providing EPM expertise across our Oracle Hyperion modules (most importantly HFM, as well as Planning, HSS, FDMEE and DRM) and Portal, as part of our dedicated Business Support function. Achieve success as the Principal EPM Specialist In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: Strong Oracle Hyperion technical support and system administration experience, particularly HFM, but also Planning, FDMEE and DRM. Tertiary qualifications in accounting, audit, financial management or another relevant discipline; complemented with an Information Systems or similar qualification. Extensive financial accounting experience, including financial reporting for consolidated entities, with practical application in EPM environments. Chartered Accountant or CPA Australia designation is a strong advantage. Strong IT skills and a solid understanding of the current technology landscape, particularly in relation to EPM platforms and tools, including the ability to read and interpret HFM rules. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, translate complex technical concepts into clear business language, and foster collaborative relationships across teams and functions. Good understanding of Treasury & Government processes, particularly finance working practices, performance management, and/or budgeting, within an EPM context. Relevant employment checks.
