About the role Based in Kensington, a leading milling, manufacturing, and distributor of flour-based food products are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their team on a casual or perm basis with the possibility for ongoing work. Hours are 6am - 2pm, Monday to Friday (can be flexible) Duties: Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment Responding to unplanned breakdowns to minimise downtime Supporting production teams by ensuring equipment reliability and plant availability Identifying and implementing opportunities for performance improvements Driving site safety, hygiene, and compliance standards The ideal candidate will have: A trade qualification in mechanical engineering (or relevant discipline) Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance fitter role within food manufacturing highly regarded Sound knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills The ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team Excellent communication and time management skills Experience working within GMP and HACCP environments If you're mechanically-minded and ready for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
