Maintenance Fitter - Permanent Day Shift Northern Sydney | Innovative Manufacturing Business Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of premium, state-of-the-art gate latches, locks and hinges. They are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their team on day shift , working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (flexible start and finish times available) . Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of facilities and plant equipment across a modern manufacturing site. Pay rate up to $50 per hour Super Overtime Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs across plant and facilities Drive upgrades to improve efficiency, safety and equipment reliability Ensure compliance with plant and equipment regulatory requirements Always maintain safety and sanitation standards Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs Lead installation, modification and renovation projects for plant, equipment and facilities Liaise with engineers, suppliers and external contractors to plan and monitor work Manage maintenance budgets, repairs, supplies and purchasing Provide on-call support for urgent after-hours breakdowns Attend and close out maintenance requests, keeping logs up to date Action OH&S hazard rectifications promptly and thoroughly About You Trade-qualified Fitter Restricted Electrical Licence Current Australian Driver's Licence & Forklift Licence Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks Understanding of manufacturing processes and production priorities Competent with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Experience with plastic injection moulding machines, auxiliaries, mobile/fixed plant, welding or machining is highly regarded If you're looking for a long-term role with a company that values innovation, quality and continuous improvement apply online today to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
