ABOUT THE ROLE As a Plant Operator (Pen Cleaning), you will be required to operate a variety of machinery including Bobcat, Scraper and Loader, Side Tipper, and Water Truck. This role will be responsible for: Carrying out pen cleaning, maintenance of grounds and equipment, undertaking machinery operations and control including routine maintenance pre-starts per OEM procedures Ensuring that the health and welfare of livestock is given first priority Ensuring machinery is kept in clean and safe working order Carrying out duties in a manner that prioritises own health and safety and that of others Communicating relevant information regarding faults with machinery being operated ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will have experience in maintenance of grounds and equipment, together with: Demonstrated skill, ability and experience across a variety of heavy equipment operations A focus on working safely An ability to work cooperatively with a team Good organisation and communication skills including an ability to use own initiative WHY WORK WITH US?
