The key duties of the position include The Role Are you ready to accelerate the adoption of Army's next generation land capabilities? By leveraging robotics, AI, autonomy, and other emerging technologies, the Army's Robotics and Autonomous Systems Implementation Coordination Office (RICO) translates concepts into solutions that strengthen Army's ability to respond to emerging threats. RICO has two APS 5 Project Support positions available. As an APS 5 Project Support Officer, you will coordinate and manage aspects of RICO's projects. You will apply project management methodologies to support experimentation and integration of emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with Army's operational requirements. This role involves preparing briefs, reports, and submissions, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting test and evaluation programs. You will work directly to the Project Manager providing clear overviews of project progress, exercising initiative and sound judgement to resolve issues and contribute to strategic planning. Develop and maintain project planning and performance processes. Coordinate project tempo and schedules. Prepare project briefs, reports, and submissions for leadership and committees. Engage with stakeholders across Defence, industry, and academia. Identify and resolve issues using initiative and sound judgement. Foster cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables. Coordinate the allocation of project resources to ensure the project team has what's needed at the right time.
