They serve as the first point of contact for all web support requests to the Enterprise Web team and manage the team mailbox. The Web Administrator is responsible for the publication and quality assurance of web content. They will use publishing, media hosting and web analytics to ensure high-quality user experiences. About our Team The Enterprise Web Directorate provides expert web services related to content, design, research and technology. The Directorate delivers web governance, training, and security monitoring for Defence web environments. The Directorate operates from Defence's strategic centre and directly supports the achievement of the National Defence Strategy. Enterprise Web Directorate assists Defence to achieve its web communications goals, whether it be via a single intranet page, a complex public website, or through audience research. The Directorate sustains all Defence public website systems and content, and the enterprise intranet content management system. Our Ideal Candidate The Enterprise Web Directorate is seeking a Web Administrator to provide support and maintenance of Defence's enterprise intranet. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the digital experience of Defence personnel by ensuring that content is clear, accurate, accessible and aligned with web policy and digital standards. We are looking for a motivated team player who is confident using content management systems such as Drupal, has a strong understanding of digital best practice, and enjoys working collaboratively to solve problems and deliver high-quality outcomes. The primary responsibilities of the role will include: Maintaining Defence's intranet sites, including publishing and updating content to ensure consistency, accessibility and alignment with web policy and WCAG requirements. Providing advice and technical support to internal stakeholders to assist with digital content needs and improve user experience. Monitoring task queues for incoming work. Supporting administrative and quality assurance activities.
