We're seeking a skilled Senior Secretariat Officer to lead a team dedicated to delivering high-quality governance and secretariat services. In this role, you'll ensure the smooth operation of key committees and decision-making forums, while fostering strong relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders. In this position, you'll take the lead on projects, drive process improvements, and provide expert advice that supports effective governance and organisational outcomes. Responsibilities of this role include: provide leadership and supervision to build and maintain a high-performing team aligned with NIAA values oversee professional secretariat services and corporate governance administration, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks manage stakeholder relationships, including senior boards and committees, to support effective governance forums deliver expert advice and technical guidance on complex and sensitive governance matters to the NIAA Executive lead process improvement initiatives and small-scale projects to enhance team and branch performance coordinate workflow, monitor team performance, and implement remedial actions to meet quality standards support governance committees by managing meeting papers, action registers, and minute-taking foster strategic partnerships and networks, considering cultural sensitivities and stakeholder priorities.
