We are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Draftsperson to support the increasing demand for accurate and compliant technical drawings across our projects. Location: Fyshwick, ACT 2609 Job-type: Full-time Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 (depending upon experience and skills) Key Responsibilities: · Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, and documentation using drafting software in accordance with project specifications. · Work closely with civil engineers, and other project stakeholders to interpret design requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings. · Collect site data and conduct basic computations for structural, drainage, water supply and foundation elements. · Ensure all plans comply with relevant Australian standards, and industry regulations. · Maintain accurate and consistent records of drawings and supporting documents. · Interpret architectural and engineering instructions to select appropriate procedures, materials and drafting equipment. · Assist with estimating material quantities and cost implications for civil and structural aspects of builds. · Conduct site visits when required to collect measurements and verify design data. · Support engineers in preparing design layouts for infrastructure such as roads, drainage systems, earthworks, utilities, and other civil works. · Contribute suggestions to improve constructability and compliance. · Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve drafting-related queries. · Ensure seamless integration of civil plans into multidisciplinary projects.
