What we need A highly skilled, motivated and detail focused professional with the ability to read and interpret health data and is passionate about quality, safety and continuous improvement. This is newly created role based in Launceston Corporate Office with regular intrastate travel working closely with the Manager Quality and Compliance and Quality and Compliance Team. What will you do? Coordinate and complete quarterly NQIP data collection across all Residential Aged Care and Home Care sites. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to collect required data outside the clinical environment. Undertake surveys at each site to support accurate and consistent data collection and verification. Validation of data to ensure accuracy and compliance with indicators Collate and submit NQIP and related datasets into QPS Prepare quarterly reports Facility and host quarterly quality indicator meetings at each site Maintaining accurate records in line with organisational, regulatory and legislative requirements. Assist the Quality and Compliance Team with collection, validation and analysis of other data. Keep up to date with regulatory requirements What you bring to the role 5 years experience working in a health related field Experiencing in collecting, validating and analysing clinical or quality data Demonstrated IT proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic quality / compliance systems Skills in interpreting data to identify trends, insights and improvement needs. High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills. Strong understanding of clinical governance, National Quality Indicator Program, quality systems and compliance frameworks in aged care or health care. Current unrestricted Tasmanian Drivers Licence. Ability and willingness to travel regularly within Tasmania. Current Working with Vulnerable People Check NDIS endorsed.
