Job Description The Human Capital Risk and Compliance Practice services all segments of the market in which KPMG operates. We are a multidisciplinary team bringing together practical experience and deep expertise across industrial relations, employment law, payroll operations, risk assurance and data analytics to provide an end-to-end service across all human capital risk and compliance services. Your Opportunity Forming part of the Human Capital Risk and Compliance team this role will be responsible for; Providing support on engagements and participating in client service delivery across pay remediation analytics, payroll compliance reviews, internal audits, deal and industrial relations advisory support, and enforceable undertaking reviews With direction from others in completing client-facing tasks and assignments, delivering a high standard of quality in your work Supporting clients and interdisciplinary KPMG engagement teams to understand, interpret and apply employment obligations under industrial instruments Working closely with, and building and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues from a broad range of backgrounds (including data analytics, risk consulting, and strategy and operations) to provide practical, real-world solutions for our clients Demonstrating a learning and growth mindset by developing understanding and knowledge across our multi-disciplinary service delivery Taking proactive ownership of your goals and performance, including seeking feedback from team members and regular check-ins with your leaders How are you extraordinary? To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include: Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships Expertise in interpreting and advising on employment obligations including modern awards, enterprise agreements, superannuation and leave Expertise in legal research including statutory and contractual interpretation Well-developed written and verbal communication skills Experience contributing to the development of reports for an executive level audience highly regarded Valuable (but not essential): Industry experience (including secondments) in industrial relations or in-house employment law Experience working with multi-disciplinary project teams Understanding of payroll systems and processes is advantageous
