Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes. Some of your day to day includes: Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks); Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes & partnering with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs; Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals; Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments. As part of Activities of Daily Living Assessments, you will: Assess an individual's Personal, Domestic, and Community ADL's, and identify recommendations for services, support, and/or assistive equipment; Complete equipment trails in person with your clients, to ensure this recommendation is safe and appropriate for the Injured Worker, as well as prompting independence in their day-to-day life; Education to our clients and Injured Workers to compliment recommendations for support, and/or assistive equipment.
