About the Role – Multiple Casual Positions Available! We’re expanding our team and looking for passionate Child and Youth Support Workers to join us in providing safe, nurturing and stable homes for children and young people under the guardianship of the Department for Child Protection. In this flexible casual role, you’ll build meaningful connections, support daily routines, encourage life skills and independence, and provide calm, trauma-informed care when it’s needed most. Every shift is an opportunity to make a genuine impact and empower young people to feel safe, valued and supported to thrive. About you: You’re compassionate, patient and confident in supporting children and young people with diverse and sometimes challenging needs. You build trust easily, communicate well and stay calm under pressure. Whether working in a team or independently, you bring professionalism, reliability and a willingness to learn. Most importantly, you’re committed to trauma-informed care and passionate about helping young people feel safe, supported and able to thrive. You will also have the following skills and experience: A minimum of Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention, Youth Work, or Disability. Experience working with vulnerable and at-risk children, young people and adults with special needs, disability and/or challenging behaviours. Demonstrated ability and experience to work within a team environment. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. Why work with us?
