Make a difference delivering outcomes for our millions of membersXXXX Support compliance with Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards Contract role until September 2026, based in Melbourne or Sydney Your New Role The Data Analyst, ESG & Stewardship, will support the Project Team in ensuring compliance with Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS), especially AASB S2 Climate-related Disclosures. This role will support mandatory disclosure obligations and ensure data integrity for assurance reporting, as well as map regulatory data requirements to data sources and translate them for software integration. The Data Analyst, ESG & Stewardship will work within a project team and across the Investment Domain and Finance Domain. This is a contract role until September 2026. Key responsibilities include: Discovering, identifying and documenting data, integrations and platform impacts across project workstreams; Assisting in mapping regulatory data requirements to data sources and translating them for integration into destination software; Liaising with project team members, business stakeholders and external vendors to document requirements, analyse impacts, and understand functional/non-functional implications; Collaborating with technology teams to automate ingestion pipelines and system integrations; Aligning data capture with the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) requirements to ensure compliance; Enabling traceability of data to raw sources for assurance readiness. This includes developing a process for documentation of processes and audit artifacts; Establishing and creating controls and business processes to ensure data accuracy, quality and completeness, including developing an annual checklist to provide an audit trail of any changes made to the process as it is refined; Conducting QA/QC of input data and calculations, troubleshooting inconsistencies, and assisting in completing internal validation and third-party verification; Developing analytics and insights, dashboards and visualisations in Power BI to support reporting and disclosures; Analysing and identifying factors contributing to climate-related risks across business portfolios and collaborating with data engineers to source and establish climate risk datasets; Leading data oversight and governance related to ESG records and processing data provenance, integration processes and reconciliation; Establishing and creating data quality controls and business processes to ensure data accuracy, quality and completeness. What You’ll Need Analyst level experience working in complex enterprise Technology and Data Environments within superannuation, investment management or financial services with investment data operations capability; A keen interest in exploring and understanding datasets, with a focus on delivering high-quality business outcomes aligned to technical requirements; Proficiency in translating requirements for data delivery and execution to non-expert stakeholders; Ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights from data; Experience with data analysis tools and techniques, data cleansing, and the development of reporting and data visualization solutions. Power BI expertise and visualisation skills are advantageous; Confident communicator with excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills; Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail; Excellent organisational, prioritisation and self-management skills; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
