Description This is a permanent part-time position, reporting to the chief technologist. You will be based between Hurstville and Miranda. Assist the Radiologist for interventional procedures, including gaining informed consent and medical history assessment, monitoring baseline observations and recovering patients post procedure. Assisting Radiographers with CT procedures Interventional Procedures include: Biopsies, Lumbar Punctures, Drainages, and Pain Management Injections. Administering medication as required for the procedure/examination. Working collaboratively with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, technical and administrative staff and managers. Key Requirements: Current AHPRA Registration – please note we will consider Endorsed Enrolled Nurses that have completed medication administration education. Cannulation experience is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
