The Role Working alongside and reporting to the owner, the Assistant Manager will ensure that all farming operations are completed thoroughly and on time. This includes regular cropping operations, such as seeding, spraying, spreading, and harvesting, among others. You will also be responsible for machinery maintenance, general farm maintenance, crop monitoring, record keeping, and grain handling. The role involves working with consultants and agronomists to formulate and implement crop management plans throughout the season. The position has the potential to evolve into an exciting and rewarding role with increased responsibility, decision-making authority, and reporting responsibilities.
