Engineering Trades Australia is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Exploration Geologist for a long-term permanent FIFO opportunity at a well-established gold operation in Western Australia. This is a senior leadership role suited to a hands-on geologist who thrives in fast-paced exploration and resource development environments. You will take ownership of exploration programs, mentor field teams, and drive resource growth through drilling and geological interpretation. This is a FIFO from Perth on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster , with your own room provided on site . Key Responsibilities Lead and design collaborative resource development and exploration programs Geological interpretation, assessment and data integrity management Cost planning, expenditure control and contractor management Act as Statutory Exploration Manager as required Develop and mentor geologists and field assistants Drive safety, compliance and continuous improvement across site activities What We’re Looking For Tertiary qualification in Geoscience or equivalent 10 years' industry experience with extensive experience in exploration Strong knowledge of WA gold mineralisation Solid experience with modern drilling methods and core logging High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Proven leadership, coaching and delegation capability Proactive, decisive and safety-focused Full Australian working rights and current driver’s licence What’s On Offer Permanent full-time FIFO role 8/6 roster from Perth Modern camp accommodation provided (own room) Long-term career stability at an established gold operation Competitive salary package based on experience If you’re ready to step into a senior leadership role and make a real impact on a growing gold operation, we’d love to hear from you.
