About the role We’re seeking a Business Analyst for a 12-month part-time contract (3 days per week) to support a major finance systems transformation for a large community housing focused organisation. You’ll work across discovery, process analysis, configuration guidance and stakeholder engagement as they transition away from their current finance platform. A key part of the role involves shaping integrations with ServiceNow and supporting tenancy-linked finance workflows across a staged roadmap. With flexibility to choose your hours and days of work every week this position offers autonomy, influence and the chance to uplift core finance capability with strong support from internal stakeholders and technical teams. What you’ll do Lead discovery and requirements-gathering workshops across finance, tenancy, ICT and operations to understand current-state workflows. Analyse, map and document end-to-end finance processes, identifying pain points, inefficiencies and opportunities for redesign. Shape interface and integration requirements between the new finance platform and ServiceNow, with a focus on tenancy-driven financial activities. Develop clear documentation including process maps, functional specifications, configuration guidance and data requirements. Design and document test cases, support UAT cycles and coordinate feedback loops with diverse stakeholder groups. Act as a trusted advisor to finance stakeholders, bringing structure, clarity and insight to decision-making across the transformation. What we’d love to see Demonstrated experience deploying finance platforms and supporting end-to-end implementation lifecycles. Strong understanding of finance operations including receivables, budgeting, tenancy-linked financial processes or similar domains. Ability to break down complex, workaround-heavy environments and design streamlined, efficient workflows. Experience working with ServiceNow or similar workflow platforms, particularly in environments with multiple integrations. Excellent documentation capability across requirements, process mapping, functional design and test planning.
