About Your Role Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a HSW Coordinator to work within our People Division. Provide effective administrative support to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing team by coordinating payments, documentation, systems, communications, and reporting to help maintain a safe and supportive workplace for all Scope employees. Your Key Focus Champion a proactive and positive safety culture by promoting shared ownership of Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) responsibilities across all levels of the organisation. Support the identification, reporting, and management of risks, hazards, and incidents, contributing to continuous improvement in workplace safety. Assist in the implementation and ongoing improvement of manual handling and occupational violence prevention programs through collaboration, training, and awareness initiatives. Partner with the Injury and Claims team to streamline processes, enhance injury management, and support cost-effective WorkCover outcomes. Contribute to emergency preparedness and business continuity by supporting risk assessments and safe emergency planning. Collaborate with the Wellbeing Manager to deliver initiatives that promote physical and mental wellbeing, ensuring programs are effective and inclusive. Experience supporting the development and improvement of HSW programs, systems, and processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships at all levels. Skilled in analysing safety data and performance metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements. Highly organised, with strong planning, prioritisation, and project management capabilities. Experience providing administrative support for accounts, workers’ compensation weekly payments, and reimbursement processing.
