About the role As an Alumni Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our alumni and supporters feel connected, valued, and informed. This varied role includes: Customer experience: Managing the alumni and supporter hotline and email inbox, providing exceptional service and addressing inquiries promptly and professionally via verbal and written communication. Data administration: Updating our alumni database, maintaining accurate records, and generating reports to support our campaigns. Program/Project support: Providing administrative support for a range of alumni engagement programs including but not limited to reunions, mentoring and faculty events About you The University values trust, accountability and excellence. About us This role sits within the Global Campaigns and Volunteers team. The team, in many respects, is the face of Alumni and Supporter Experience, being the first port of call for our alumni enquiries via the alumni inbox and phone line. This team is responsible for driving mass and bespoke connections with the University’s 470,000 alumni through domestic and international campaigns, and best-practice volunteering models. The team supports faculty-related event and program requests. The team supports University wide initiatives and surveys and drives alumni connections via reunion activities and volunteering opportunities such as mentoring. We develop experiential campaigns to engage our alumni around the world via our digital channels, local events, and with opportunities to reconnect on campus. The wider team is the Alumni and Supporter Experience team which engages with alumni and the broader community through a wide range of communications, events, community giving and engagement programs.
